Paradialer Help

Test your mic & speaker

The audio check that opens before a session so you can verify your mic and audio output.

Before you start a session, Paradialer opens an audio check (Google Meet style) so you can verify your hardware. There is no automatic "pass/fail" test: you are the one who judges the quality.

What you can do

  • Pick your mic from the list, and watch the live level (the bar moves when you speak).
  • "Listen to my mic": plays your voice back through the chosen speaker so you can hear your own audio quality.
  • Pick your audio output (speaker/headset) and play a test tone.
  • Start the session once everything suits you.

Echo on speakers

Mic monitoring sends your voice to the audio output. On speakers, you'll hear an echo — use a headset for a faithful test.

When this check appears

  • On the first session of your browser session.
  • Again if your audio configuration changes (you plug in a headset, switch mic/output…).

Once you've confirmed it, it won't reappear until you close the browser or your devices change. The devices you pick become the ones used for your calls.

If the mic can't be accessed, check your browser permissions (padlock icon in the address bar → Microphone → Allow).
