Import contacts
Add a contact by hand, import a CSV, or import from a HubSpot list.
Three ways to feed your contacts in: one by one, by CSV, or from a HubSpot list.
Adding a contact by hand
From the Contacts page, click Add contact.
- Fields: First name, Last name, Phone, Email, Company, Title, LinkedIn.
- Rule: at least one of first name, last name, phone or email.
- The phone has to be a valid number (otherwise: "Invalid number — check the country and the digits").
Importing a CSV
From a campaign's page, use Add contacts → Import a CSV. The contacts are added to the campaign and to your workspace.
- Upload a CSV with a header row. Limits: 2 MB, 1000 rows per import.
- Map the columns: common headers (Apollo, HubSpot, Salesforce, Lemlist… and French ones) are guessed automatically. Point each column at a field (First name, Last name, Phone…), a custom field, or Ignore.
- Review: a preview shows the valid rows and the ones to fix.
Invalid rows
A row with no identifier (no first name / last name / phone / email), or with an invalid phone or email, is flagged and excluded from the import — the others go through.
No de-duplication on CSV
A CSV import does not remove duplicates against your existing contacts: a valid duplicate row creates a new contact. Clean your file beforehand if you need to.
Importing one contact from HubSpot
To add a single HubSpot contact to your address book, without a campaign: Contacts → Import → From HubSpot (HubSpot must be connected).
- Search for the contact by name, email, phone or company (at least 2 characters).
- Click Import next to the right result. If it is already in Paradialer, the button reads Update: its details are refreshed from HubSpot, with no duplicate.
The Import menu also offers CSV file: the same import as above, but the contacts go to your address book only, without a campaign.
Importing from a HubSpot list
Still from the campaign: Add contacts → HubSpot list (HubSpot has to be connected).
- Pick a list (the Sync now button refreshes the list of lists).
- Preview — members are split into:
- already in your workspace (matched, not recreated — that's the de-duplication),
- to import (callable) — with a phone number,
- to import (no phone) — imported, but absent from the dial queue until a number is added.
- Import — the contacts are added to the campaign.
Lists with more than 1000 members aren't supported yet — split it in HubSpot.
