Audio troubleshooting
No sound, a call that won't hang up, agent/prospect voices swapped, audio delay.
The most common audio snags, and how to fix them.
No sound / no ringback
- Check the audio check before the session: the right mic and the right output are selected (see Test your mic & speaker).
- Check the browser's microphone permissions (padlock in the address bar → Microphone → Allow).
- Check that the volume of the chosen output isn't muted.
- Reload the page and start a session again.
The call takes a while to hang up
A slight delay when hanging up can come from the network. If the End button seems to do nothing, wait a few seconds and try again, then reload the page if needed.
Agent / prospect voices are swapped in the recording
The recording player separates the voices onto two tracks (Agent / Prospect). If the labels are the wrong way round:
- Click "Swap voices" (the ⇄ icon) under the tracks.
- The setting is remembered in your browser and applies to all your recordings — you only do it once.
Audio delay / echo
- An echo almost always comes from speakers: use a headset.
- A perceived delay mostly comes down to the physical distance of the call: calling the other side of the world adds latency, whatever the tool. On a call inside your own country, latency stays low.
