AI transcription & summary
Transcribe a call and generate a sales summary, with the transcript split by speaker.
From a call's page (open a call in the Call log), Paradialer can generate a transcript and an AI summary of the conversation.
Running the transcription
It's manual, on demand — under the "AI transcription & summary" section:
- The call must have a recording (otherwise: "This call has no recording to transcribe").
- Click Transcribe + summarize (AI).
States
| State | What you see |
|---|---|
| Running | "Transcription in progress… (can take up to 30s)". |
| Done | The summary and the transcript appear. |
| Error | A message + a Retry link. |
Very long calls (over ~15 min) can exceed the time budget — retry if needed.
What you get
AI summary, structured:
- Summary — what was said, factually.
- Sales read — a Positive / Neutral / Negative sentiment + a sentence.
- Key points — a bullet list.
- Next steps — what happens next.
Transcript split by speaker — laid out as a conversation: Agent on the left, Prospect on the right, with a timestamp per turn. If the audio can't be separated, the text appears without a label rather than pinning a voice on the wrong speaker.
Asking questions about your transcripts
Inside Paradialer, the AI produces the summary in one go, and the "conversation" is only a rendering of the two tracks. To query your transcripts in plain language ("which objections keep coming up in the Q4 campaign?"), connect Claude: it reads your transcripts and can even start one for a call that doesn't have any yet.
